Barranca Energy donates $10,000 to CHOC Children's through Direct Energy Business Broker Program
On June 7th, Barranca Energy employee’s Walter and Patti Jones toured CHOC Children’s Hospital to learn about the innovative ways that the hospital is using donations like theirs to provide world class care to their over 220,000 annual patients.
When reflecting on their experience visiting CHOC Children’s, Walter and Patti shared:
CHOC is such an incredible place for children to feel safe and relaxed, with beautiful and friendly designs and lots of space for kids to be kids. CHOC treats not only disease but the whole health of the child and their families with support at every step. The CHOC team does so much to make the children feel encouraged with activities like play therapy, Beads of Courage, visits from the Los Angeles Angels, birthday parties, and even dances. We are so proud to have a place like CHOC in our community.
Walter and Patti Jones graciously donated $5,000, from their 2018 profits, to CHOC Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Direct Energy matched this donation through their relationship with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Barranca Energy is a partner of Direct Energy through their Business division.
