Direct Energy donates in a big way!

Dayton Children’s Hospital is proud to announce that on October 1, Direct Energy donated 15 of Hive Starter Packs to help support the mission of our hospital.   Hive is a new, smart-home sister company of Direct Energy that sells clever smart home products and services.  Through their products, you can control the lighting and appliances around your house, all from your smartphone or through Alexa, Google Assistant or IFTTT.

Each donated Hive Starter Pack  is a $199 value and includes:

  • Two Hive Active Lights
  • One Hive Active Plug
  • Two Hive Window or Door Sensors
  • One Hive Hub

Our hospital will leverage the generous donation from Direct Energy through raffle prizes, patient gifts, and other uses.
